Drymoanthus flavus
Plant: leaves to 20 mm, purple-spotted, dull, leathery, in fan-shaped clusters sticking out from the stem. Flowers: yellow-green, the labellum lacking the calli in the labellum of D. adversus. Flowering: October to December. Habitat: on a range of host trees. Widespread. Conservation: naturally uncommon, sparse. Notes: much less common than D. adversus with which it sometimes grows. Key features: white roots leading from a clump of leaves sticking out from the stem or surface; leaves spotted, flowers un-spotted. |
