Plant: to 60 cm tall but sometimes much less. Upper leaf overtops the flower, very narrow, dark green scarecely overtopping the flower and arching.

Flowers: green with 4 translucent stripes tilted forwards. Lateral sepals stout, recurved and scarcely taller than the dorsal sepal, flat below but rolled towards the sharply tapered tip, often reddish tipped. Labellum 8mm long, oblong, green under, near black on top.

Flowering: October.

Habitat: willow carr, Waikato.

Conservation:Data deficient, local.

Key features: small flower, very trunate lateral sepals and dorsal sepal.
